Tesco Collection

Yesterday (Friday) I did a collection at Tesco Extra, Orpington. Jane came to help me set up, and Carole helped me in the afternoon.

My collection raised £145 in total and we met some really lovely people. The children really enjoyed putting the money in the boxes and three ladies even gave us £5. We met a few people who had heard of Huntington's and some who had friends with HD.

Barn Dance
Almost half of the tickets are now spoken for. My friend Tracey works at Coolings and she took a poster for me. It's just down the road to the hall.

Donations
My Dads sister-in-law is in a care home for the elderly and my cousin has sent £50 for me. I was really suprised to hear that, as I haven't seen them all for years.

My justgiving site now has £1,165 on it, and is creeping up slowly all the time. May thanks to those who have donated.

I had a donation from a young man who's mum has just passed away from HD. He saw my article in the local paper. He also sent me a nice email and it's letters like that which make my project all the more worth while to me.

Gazza Bash
Next Friday is the Gazza bash. I'm really hoping that it's going to be a busy one and that it raises lots of money for HD.
