A quarter of the Barn Dance tickets are spoken for already. I'm not sure who I'm going to sell the rest of the tickets to, but am trying not to worry too much about that, as there is still plenty of time.
I have contacted the local paper and they have agreed to put another article in it for me, so I can advertise the barn dance in that and hopefully drum up some more interest.
I'm now over £1,000 on my justgiving site - £1,015 to be exact.
Things are definately moving slower than last year, but I have to keep the faith and believe it will all happen.
I've had a setback on the raffle of my treatments too. It's not as straightforward as I thought. There are so many rules and regulations regarding the selling of tickets (it's gambling)and I'm going to have to do it under the HDA name as they hold the gambling licence.
TRAINING
Last week I did a 40 minute swim, a 25 minute jog and a long bike ride from Havant to the beach on Hayling Island. It was really enjoyable.
I've been extremely busy this week and so far have only managed a jog, but have planned a nice walk on Saturday. The weather forecast is rain :-( Better get my waterproofs on then!

The Huntington's Disease Association has been a great support to me and my family but is struggling for funding and has had to let some of its much needed careworkers go.
